Poet Hussein Arab, 85, dies

MAKKAH, 30 April — Well-known poet and former Minister of Haj and Endowment Hussein Arab, 85, passed away here yesterday. Funeral prayers will be performed at the Grand Mosque. Arab, who also worked as editor of Voice of Hijaz newspaper and acting editor-in-chief of Umm Al-Qura newspaper, had won many cultural and literary awards.
