MADINAH, 11 May — Some 600 employees have lodged a complaint against a Haj service company for allegedly swindling them out of one third of their salaries.

The scandal came to light when the employees received their salaries last week, but the company’s administration has thus far failed to respond to their complaints.

An official from the company told Arab News that the workers are confused because they are unaware of the company’s rules and regulations, which stipulate that employees will be paid only for the days they work, but not for their rest days.
