JEDDAH, 4 June — The General Presidency of Youth Welfare has plans to constitute a new board of directors for the House of Artists. "What is being considered is to have a 13-member board replacing the present five-member body that conducts day-to-day affairs of House of Artists," Saleh Bogari, chairman of House of Artists and deputy managing director of Al-Khaleejiah Advertising & Public Relations Co., told Arab News on Sunday night.
Bogari, who hosted an open discussion with Dr. Abdulhaleem Radwi, a leader of the Kingdom’s art movement, quoting speakers said there was an urgent need to exercise some sort of control over pricing artworks and for an institution to govern this type of activity.
