JEDDAH, 6 June — Filipino electrical engineers and electrical practitioners in Jeddah and nearby areas are invited to a technical seminar being organized by the Western Region chapter of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE-WRCSA)
The seminar is scheduled on Friday at the Hotel Sofitel in Jeddah, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., according to chapter president Romeo V. Sagad.
As part of the event, the chapter will also intersperse its mid-year general membership meeting with the seminar.
Specialists will be giving in-depth lectures focusing on contemporary subjects, namely, Computer Assembly, Illumination (Lighting) Design, and Introduction to Fiber Optics Technology.
Sagad said Ely Balabad (Modern Electronics) will handle the first technical workshop, continuing the lecture he started on May 10. He will discuss the importance of the component’s compatibility to other parts so the assembled PC will run faster and be more efficient. This segment of the seminar concludes with hands-on involvement of participants in the actual assembly of a personal computer.
On Illumination Design, Irwin J. Sacoba (Nordin Lighting) will delve into lighting fixtures and its application in selected areas such as rooms and roads.
