Christmas festivities begin in Bethlehem

Dozens of Palestinian scouts’ bands played Christmas music. They marched the main streets of Bethlehem in front of the Latin Patriarch's official convoy celebrating Christmas on Saturday until the Manger Square in front of the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem despite the cold weather.

Bethlehem celebrates its largest and most distinguished Christmas in many years, and hundreds of International and local Christian pilgrims entered the church of Nativity in Bethlehem.

1500 Palestinian policemen and security personnel deployed in the city to provide security for the celebrators and the visitors of the city for the Christmas

Midnight Mass will be the peak of Christmas celebrations attended by senior Palestinian officials and foreign diplomats and aired all over the world live.
