Farhad Usmanov, the 42-year-old son of a well-known Tashkent Imam, was arrested for the alleged possession of a single leaflet of the Islamic political party, Hizb-ut-Tahrir, on the 14th of June 1999. After being held incommunicado for eleven days he was brutally murdered at the hands of the Stasi-style Uzbek security apparatus.
On 14th of April 2002, the widow of Farhad Usmanov and mother of six, Musharaf Usmanova, was arrested by more than 50 members of the Uzbek security apparatus. Since her disappearance her whereabouts remain unknown.
The regime of Uzbekistan, with Karimov as its ruler - the West's new crooked ally in the "War Against Terrorism" - is perpetrating a vicious campaign against all those who dare to speak out about its corruption, tyranny and unjust practices.
In a hidden massacre, concealed from the independent media, hundreds have been killed under brutal torture and tens of thousands of Muslims languish in the dark and dingy prisons of Uzbekistan - no doubt mere collateral damage in the "War Against Terrorism".
The Islamic people have endured almost 80 years, since the destruction of the Khilafah (Caliphate), under the yoke of rulers who care not for her interests or for Islam. For too long these rulers have ruled with an iron fist and have been subservient to the Capitalist States.
The "War Against Terrorism" has undoubtedly provided the USA with a pretext to further her imperial designs throughout the entire world, making the power of the USA, in all its forms, military, strategic and economic, the greatest source of terrorism on earth.
The USA now openly prepares to wage all-out war on Iraq. What kind of world will this become if the US government has a blank cheque to drop commandos, assassins, and bombs wherever it wants?.
In response to this vicious campaign, members and supporters of Hizb-ut-Tahrir, the worldwide Islamic political party, have launched an international mass media campaign to put the spotlight upon the West's unscrupulous allies in the "War Against Terrorism".
The silence is about to break.
