SR350,000 given in Asharq contests

RIYADH, 9 August — More than SR350,000 in prizes have been won by several readers of Asharq Al-Awsat, a sister publication of Arab News, who participated in the newspaper’s interactive contests launched early last month.

The newspaper’s SR1 million draw is due to take place in early September.

The winners included Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Jarbou, Saudi from Unaiza in Qassim; Abdul Rahman Al-Ghamdi, a Saudi student; Muna Manko, an expatriate from Jordan; Muhammad Al-Balushi from Abu Dhabi; Ibrahim Al-Haj from Sudan; Mayada Burnes from Egypt; Suwaid Muhammad from Algeria; Fatima Al-Sha’arani from Lebanon; Mustafa Abu Ayta from Jordan; Mamdouh Majeed from Morocco; Abdul Latif Al-Zayani from Bahrain, and Muhammad Al-Otaibi from Kuwait.
