Currency counterfeiter held

JEDDAH, 15 August — Police arrested an Arab expatriate while attempting to circulate forged currency of SR 100 in a Riyadh shopping center on Sunday, Al-Riyadh reported yesterday. Some officials of the Committee on Commercial Fraud, who were present at the shopping center in the evening, found the man behaving in an odd manner. He bought some cheap article and paid with SR100 notes. He repeated this several times. When the suspicious officials questioned him, he confessed to circulating counterfeit notes.He was immediately handed over to police.
