EPB releases data for 2001

JEDDAH, 19 August — Pakistan’s Export Promotion Bureau has released the export data for the fiscal year 2001-2002 (July-June). Total exports from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia have gone up to $330 million, according to a press release by the Pakistani Consulate General in Jeddah. This has happened for the first time. Last year, total exports to the Kingdom were $273 million. Percentage-wise, this year’s (2001-2002) growth is (+) 21% over 2000-2001, (+) 53% over 1999-2000, (+) 77% over 1998-99.
