Nasr, Ittefaq in goalless draw: Prince Faisal ibn Fahd Cup

RIYADH, 5 September — Al-Nasr and Al-Ittefaq were both involved in a goalless draw in a Group A match of the Prince Faisal ibn Fahd Cup yesterday.

In another match of the competition also played in the capital, Al-Hilal defeated Al-Riyadh 3-1 after leading 2-0 at the interval.

Faisal Al-Salih, Badr Al-Kharashi and Mazin Al-Faraz for the winners and Yahya Fakihi for Riyadh were the scorers.

In Dammam, Al-Shabab defeated A--Qadsiyah 2-0, thanks to goals from Naji Majrashi and Rida Tukar. The winners led 1-0 at half-time.

After four rounds of matches, Al-Shabab head the table with 10 points, followed by Al-Ittefaq 8, Al-Qadsiyah 6, Al-Riyadh 4, Al-Hilal 4 and Al-Nasr 1.
