JEDDAH, 11 September — A six-day exhibition-cum-symposium on education and training in the Middle East will open in Jeddah on Sept.15.
Named Middle East Education & Training Exhibition and Symposium (MEETES) , the show will take place at Jeddah International Exhibition & Convention Center. It is organized by Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and King Abdul Aziz University. More than 50 universities, training organizations and other establishments will participate, with large representation from Canada, the UK and Turkey in addition to Saudi Arabia. Exhibitors are expected to cover the whole educational spectrum from universities and educational establishments to software and supplies.
The exhibition is being held in concurrence with a symposium titled “The role of community service & continuing centers in higher education training & rehabilitation”. The symposium sessions will take place at the KAAU campus with transport provided between the two locations, the organizers said in a statement.
