Jubail R & D center chosen

RIYADH, 29 September — GCC water ministers have agreed to adopt the research & development center for desalination of water in Jubail as the regional GCC center, according to Water Minister Dr. Ghazi Al-Gosaibi. He said a meeting of the ministers in Muscat also decided to conduct a study on strengthening the private sector’s role in desalination projects. (SPA)
