RIYADH, 5 October — The Supreme Commission for Tourism has completed preparations for the third conference of OIC tourism ministers, scheduled to be opened here tomorrow by Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation.
The five-day conference will discuss economic and social effects of tourism and ways of promoting tourism in Organization of Islamic Conference states.
An information center has been set up to facilitate the needs of national and foreign journalists and media organizations. The information committee will publish a daily bulletin in both English and Arabic on the conference’s activities. It will focus on the present and anticipated future situation of tourism in Saudi Arabia and other Muslim nations.
