MWL, UNESCO keen to boost ties

PARIS, 5 October — Secretary-general of Muslim World League Dr. Abdullah Al-Turki and UNESCO director general Koshiro Matsora yesterday expressed their keenness to enhance cooperation between the two organizations. Turki was especially keen on cooperation in the dialogue of civilizations, culture and translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an.

Turki also underscored the importance of boosting relations between France and the Islamic world at a meeting with Rodo Rene, a Foreign Ministry adviser. (SPA)
