JEDDAH, 9 October — Saudi Arabia and Pakistan signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday, allowing Saudi Arabian Airlines and Pakistan International Airlines to operate 25 flights each weekly, Al-Bilad reported. It said Peshawar has been added to Saudia’s destinations in Pakistan apart from Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore. PIA will operate its flights to Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam. The accord was reached following talks between Dr. Ali Al-Khalaf, head of the Presidency of Civil Aviation, and Mohammed Choudhury, second secretary at the Pakistan Defense Ministry.
