JEDDAH, 12 October — Prince Mishaal ibn Majed, governor of Jeddah, will inaugurate an international trade and fashion fair at Jeddah International Exhibition and Convention Center on Oct.14.
Organizers Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions said international participation in the five-day fair will be very strong, with exhibitors representing over 20 countries in national pavilions and individual displays. They include Bangladesh, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Mexico, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The Malaysian pavilion will be the largest at the show. The largest group of exhibitors, however, is Indian with 53 companies forming the largest Indian participation in Saudi Arabia for over two decades.
Bangladesh is also bringing a bigger group than in previous years, the organizers said.
Ahead of the fair, on Sunday, Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority will conduct a symposium at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where international participants will be briefed on investment opportunities in the Kingdom along with various legal aspects and requirements.
