MADINAH, 19 October — Authorities will investigate an administrative officer at King Fahd Hospital and a doctor at its emergency department for neglect of duties. Dr. Abdul Qader Al-Tayyeb, director of health in the Madinah region, said he ordered the investigation after an inspection tour of the hospital on Thursday night. Punitive actions were also taken against some guards and cleaners. He said inspection tours will continue to ensure proper work at health facilities in the region. — Badr Al-Nayyef
