RIYADH, 30 October — Are you interested in going into business or investing but afraid of getting caught in scams?
If you are based in Riyadh or nearby places, learn about the pitfalls by attending a seminar to be held at the Philippine Embassy on Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Organized by the OFW Investors Society (Ofwins), the seminar will talk on the ABCs of Personal Savings and Investment and Project Feasibility Study.
Highlights include “maximization of savings rate” for OFWs, overview of investment vehicles available to OFWs, awareness of risks entailed in OFWs going into business and avoidance of all types of investment scams.
Ofwins president Romie Cahucom said the topics are relevant at a time when many OFWs are being misled into investing in scams.
The seminars will be conducted in cooperation with the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO). It will be the 7th session in the monthly seminar series conducted by Ofwins.
