IIRO activities transparent: Basha

JEDDAH, 21 November 2002 — Adnan Khalil Basha, secretary-general of the International Islamic Relief Organization, said its operating system ensures that the money donated to it reaches the deserving people and every riyal spent by it in any part of the world is reported to the IIRO secretariat here. He was speaking to a delegation from the US Consulate General which visited the agency’s headquarters here yesterday. The organization extends assistance to the needy people after making sure that they deserve it. He added that all its charitable activities are transparent as they are published in the media here and abroad in Arabic, English and French. (SPA)
