JEDDAH, 5 December 2002 — International motorbike freestylist Chris Pfelffer arrived in Jeddah recently to perform his daredevil stunts as part of this year’s Eid festivities.
The world-class motorcylist will kick off his three-city Kingdom tour at 9 p.m. today in front of Al-Hamra Commercial Center on Jeddah Corniche.
Besides Jeddah, Pfelffer will perform in Riyadh and the Eastern Province until Dec. 20. Twenty-one shows have been scheduled in various localities for the general public as well as for VIPs and media persons.
According to organizers, the show is the first of its kind to be held in the Kingdom. Pfelffer has performed his stunt shows in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.
Pfelffer plans to utilize his time wisely while in the Kingdom by visiting local schools and explaining safety measures regarding motorbikes. Born in Germany in 1970, Pfeiffer was fascinated by motorbikes by the age of five. As a professional, he has won numerous titles including German Trial Cup, Offroad Challenge and Erzberg Red Bull Harescramble.
