STC to answer queries on flotation

JEDDAH, 14 December 2002 — Saudi Telecom Company has allocated a toll free number 1777 to answer queries related to flotation of its shares for public subscription, Saleh Al-Jaser, director of information affairs and marketing support, said. He said the new service will help the public get all information related to purchase of the shares. STC will start selling 30 percent of its shares on Dec. 17. Saudis will be able to purchase 60 million of the floated shares at SR170 per share. The remaining 30 million will go to the Pension Fund and GOSI.
