Embassy closed on holidays

RIYADH, 24 December 2002 — The Philippine Embassy here will be closed to the public on the following holidays — today (non-working day), tomorrow (Christmas), Dec. 30 (Rizal day), Dec. 31 (non-working day) and Jan. 1 (New Year’s day). However, there will be a duty officer at the embassy lobby to attend to telephone calls and other urgent transactions. The embassy will be open on Dec. 28 and 29, according to an official press release.
