Red Crescent first aid centers

JEDDAH, 19 January 2003 — Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Suwailem, president of Saudi Red Crescent Society, said his organization will set up 116 first aid centers in Makkah, Madinah, Mina and other holy sites during the Haj season. Speaking to Al-Riyadh newspaper, Al-Suwailem said Saudi Red Crescent will deploy more than 1,800 volunteers and 301 ambulance vehicles on duty in the holy places. The society will have 15 centers each in Makkah and Madinah, 30 in Mina and 25 in Arafat and Muzdalifa.
