Al-Shibl replaces Sugair at AEC

RIYADH, 4 February 2003 — Advanced Electronics Company, an Economic Offset Program company and one of the top 100 companies in the Kingdom, has announced that Dr. Ghassan Al-Shibl has taken over as the new president and CEO of AEC from Feb. 1. He replaces Abdulaziz Sugair, who has retired after 13 years of service. Announcing the top management change, Adnan Dabbagh, chairman of AEC’s board of directors, paid tributes to Sugair during whose tenure the company had “grown significantly in all aspects — sales, number of customers, technical capability and profitability.”
