ALKHOBAR, 21 February 2003 — In the EPCA League Sponsored by Alghamdi Trading Establishment Alghamdi beat SPG by 13 runs. Alghamdi batted first and scored 254 runs in their allotted 40 overs. Riaz Saeed scored 71 runs which included five hits to the fence. Khawar scored a valuable 67 runs and Tariq Tanweer contributed 39 runs.
Naveed, Tariq and Nasir bowled well for SPG and all claimed 2 wickets each. In reply SPG were all out for 241. Mahmood 48 runs was the top scorer, Sadar Khan 40 runs, Inam 36 runs and Amjad contributed 36 run.
At one stage they were 212 for five but Khawar struck twice in one over and three needless run outs changed the match in favor of Alghamdi. Riaz Saeed took 3 wickets for 38 runs. In another premier division match Kanoo crushed AGE by 8 wickets. AGE scored just 200 for the loss of nine wickets. Faraz scored a fine half century, Waheed added 42 runs and Farhan contributed 26 runs.
Munawwar and Iqbal Bali bowled well and took 2 wickets each. In reply Kanoo reached the target in 26 overs. Munawwar Hussain scored an unbeaten 115 runs which was studded with 15 boundaries. Munawwar put on 160 runs partnership for the first wicket with his opening partner Zulfiqar Goga who scored 64 runs. In another match Imran Tigers beat YATA by 9 wickets.
YATA 219 all out. Asim Baig 36, Bilal 39, Nadeem 39. Ather and Parwez got 3 wickets and Wasim took 2 wickets. Imran Tigers 221 for 1 wicket. Talal scored a fine century and Wasim scored 95 runs. In the first division SVM maintained its unbeaten record and beat SWCC by 10 wickets. SWCC were 138 all out. Imtiaz 28 runs and Salim 25 runs were the main scorers.
Shakil got 3 wickets for 29 runs. Faisal and Unni claimed two wickets each. SVM reached the target in the 20th over without losing any wickets. Syed Amin scored an unbeaten 83 runs which included 9 boundaries and a towering six. Muhammad Ayub again scored a fine half century and led his team to victory. Deccan Blues beat Hyd Blues by 99 runs. Deccan Blues batted first and scored 287 runs for the loss of 3 wickets.
Nazeer Pasha scored 120 which included 8 boundaries. Minhaj and Ibrahim scored fine half centuries. In reply Hyd Blues were all out for 188. Taj with 69 runs, Fayyaz 24 and Yaqoob 23 runs were main scorers. Omer got 3 wickets and Naseem and Zafar claimed two wickets each. Khalifa Algosaibi beat Samasco youngsters by 6 wickets. Samasco 129 all out Rashid and Ashfaqa scored 35 runs each.
Akbar Husain and Parwez took 3 wickets each. Khalifa Algosaibi 130 for 4. Akbar Hussain scored 64 runs n.o. Iqbal scored 33 runs. Zubair took all the 4 wickets. ADPCO beat Pakistani School by 10 runs. ADPCO 275 for 9.
Sohrab scored runs. Suresh 24 runs and Prabhakar contributed 22 runs. Pakistani School were 265 for 8. Kamran was unlucky to miss a century with 95 runs. Muazzam scored 56 runs and Ali 41 runs. Prabhakar and Sohrab took 2 wickets each.
In another match AGE Jr. beat NWCC . AGE Jr. 229 Farooq and Qayum scored 48 runs each and Yasin scored 28 runs. Nawab XI 128 all out Bilal 32 runs was the top scorer. Munna bowled well and got 3 wickets.

Ayub 41 and Ismail 27 not out. Ishaq got 2 wickets. AGE Jr. 109 all out Mohsin 26 runs and Abdul Qayum 25 runs. Faisal got 3 wickets and Shakeel 2 wickets.
Nawab XI beat NATEST By 3 wickets. NATEST 148 all out Israr 45 runs. Rafi 5 wickets. Abdul wahed and faisal took 2 wickts each. Nawab Xi 149 for 7 Bilal 59 runs and Ismail scored 23 runs. Naveed , Asad and Aftab took 2 wickets each. SWCC beat Basim by 252 runs. SWCC 312 for 8.
