Al-Raya, Al-Osra & Al Asmak & Wartsila Wins Back to Back

JEDDAH, 28 February 2003 — Al-Raya S/M, Al-Osra & Al-Asmak won back to back against Sawary Superstore M&M & Giant Store Pag-asa while Wartsila defeated Sete & Jeddah Graphics at Al-Ittihad courts in the 4th Saudi Companies Basketball Association (SCBA) basketball tournament 2003. Well-oiled Nissan Al-Hamrani outplayed MODA Defenders team. Al Wadi International School overcame International Philippine School (IPSJ), with only 1:37 in the game. IPSJ were up by 5 points but lucky shots from the perimeter & 3-point range helped the Al-Wadi Int’l School to win. “That is basketball,” said Cris Magno the head coach of IPSJ. Thamer International School-TIS, the defending champion, also won, beating Desert Rose International School.
