We Are Too Weak

Yes, we are huge in numbers, but we are weak. We are weak in our speeches. We are weak in the way we act. We love life and we are so afraid of death that we store food products of countries that kill our brothers and sisters in Iraq and Palestine. Even school meals come from Zionist companies that support Zionist governments to kill Palestinians with deadly missiles.

We are too weak to hear the screams from Iraq; even the screams of the Iraqi woman who kept shouting, “You exposed me, you exposed me,” after doctors took off a part of her dress to treat her injuries. These are the modest screams of noble women who prefer to die rather than have their bodies exposed. These shouts boiled the blood of many Arabs who saw that scene on TV.

Women in Yemen wore shrouds and protested in the street against the American aggression on Iraq while some Arab women had tea and coffee with Anglo-American women.

British women are camping near the military base where the US B-52s take off to protest against the aggression on Iraq. Many Europeans in general and Germans in particular are boycotting American products and American food and restaurants. It is very common in Germany to see signs saying, “We do not sell American products” in superstores. A famous German company stopped importing American spare parts. German protesters gathered in front of American gas station shouting, “No Blood for Oil”. The boycott is hitting the American movie industry and very few are buying tickets to watch American movies.

Boycotting American products is the only weapon we have to stop this war on Iraq. America will lose nearly SR8.6 billion if we stop buying US products. We have to close shops that sell Israeli products. I hope our businessmen will change their strategy and import their products only from Muslim countries.
