RIYADH, 10 April 2003 — Saudi Arabia has returned 31 artefacts to Yemen after they were smuggled into the country by Yemenis through the Najran region. Dr. Saad ibn Abdul Aziz Al-Rashed, undersecretary at the Ministry of Education for Antiquities and Museums, said the artefacts were passed on to Yemeni authorities through the Kingdom’s embassy in Sanaa.
