Pneumonia Death

JEDDAH, 18 April 2003 — Mazen Madani, a 12-year-old middle school student, died of pneumonia in Jeddah two days ago, Al-Watan daily reported. Dr. Muhammad Ekram, director of health affairs in Jeddah, denied that it was a case of the deadly Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
