RIYADH, 6 June 2003 — Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) felicitated its winning teams, managers, umpires and selection committee members during the inter-city matches held recently against Eastern Province Cricket Association (EPCA) in a glittering ceremony at Marhaba Banquet hall in Riyadh.
In this year’s inter-city matches RCA teams RCA XI, President’s XI, RCA Youth teams won all their matches with ease against ECPA teams. Addressing the gathering former RCL chairman, Tariq Javed, congratulated the teams, managers and RCA Ex-Com for their memorable win.
Asif Saleem, Sr. VP RCA, lauded the RCA selection committee for their excellent work and the teams for getting the trophy back to RCA.
During the 22 years of inter-city matches this is the fourth time RCA has won the trophy. Qadeer Mirza, president of RCA, in his address praised and congratulated the winning teams and urged the teams to adhere to discipline and play the game in the spirit of game.

Javid Munawar — Captain RCA XI, Mohd Owais — Captain RCA President XI, Rizwan Qayyum — Best Bowler, Asif Zaki — Captain RCA Youth XI, Jibreel Rana — Man of the Match RCA Youth XI, Asad Butt — Best Batsman RCA Youth XI, Afzal Pasha — Best Batsman RCA President XI, Adnan Ayoob — Best Batsman RCA Youth XI, Arif Mahmood — Best Batsman RCA XI, Jameel Khan — Best Fielder RCA XI, Shazib Saleem — Youngest Player RCA Youth XI and Mansoor Ahmed — Best Batsman, RCA Ex-Com XI. Kashif Khan, Shahzad Ahmad and Adnan were awarded special prices for wicketkeeping.
