RIYADH, 13 June 2003 — The Overseas Filipino Workers Bowlers of Riyadh (OFWBR) is endorsing the candidates of the Bowler’s Coalition Party to the Filipino Overseas Bowlers of Riyadh (FOBR) election of new set of officers. The casting of votes will be held on June 19 at the Riyadh Bowling Club (RBC) from 7:00 p.m. 11:00 p.m and on June 20, 2003 at the Al-Khozama Hotel Bowling Center from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Bowler’s Coalition Party is headed by Shakur Kamlian who is running for the chairmanship position. Rommel Romano who is running for the Director, External Affairs and Sanctioning is not new in the bowling scenario.
Egai Asuncion, a strong contender for the Director, Internal Affairs is the incumbent chairman of the STC Bowling Club.
The remaining Bowler’s Coalition candidates are Francis Guron for Secretary, Rizal Dellosa and Prima Abulencia for Membership, Ellen Bernabe for Director, Internal Affairs (female division), Rod Tagaban and Gladys Acosta for technical affairs (male and female). The incumbent chairman of the FOBR is Aurel Farinas.
