CINCINNATI, 20 June 2003 — Sammy Sosa homered, singled and drove in two runs on his return following a seven-game suspension to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 4-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds in the National League on Wednesday.
Sosa hit his seventh home run of the season and first since May 1, a span of 69 at-bats, off Jimmy Haynes in the fifth inning.
