TORONTO, 14 July 2003 — Roy Halladay won his 13th consecutive decision as the Toronto Blue Jays scored six runs in the eighth inning to rout the New York Yankees 10-3 on Saturday.
Halladay (13-2) is unbeaten in his last 17 starts and carries his winning streak into tomorrow’s All-Star Game in Chicago. Halladay went eight innings, allowing two runs on four hits with six strikeouts and no walks.
Mike Mussina (10-6) battled Halladay to a 2-2 tie after six innings, but the Blue Jays went ahead in the seventh on a two-run single by Frank Catalanotto and added six more runs in the eighth.
White Sox 7 Indians 4 (1st Game 10)
In Cleveland, Paul Konerko hit a three-run homer in the top of the 10th inning to lead the Chicago White Sox to a 7-4 victory over the Indians in the first game of a doubleheader.
Damaso Marte (3-1) tossed 1 2/3 hitless innings of relief for the win while Tom Gordon threw a scoreless 10th for his second save.

In Oakland, Scott Hatteberg hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning to snap a 3-3 tie and give the Athletics a 5-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles.
Angels 6 Twins 1
In Anaheim, Scott Spiezio had three hits and drove in two runs while Darrin Erstad added two RBI as the Angels beat the Minnesota Twins 6-1.
Indians 4 White Sox 2 (2nd game)
In Cleveland, Travis Hafner drove in three runs to help the Indians beat the Chicago White Sox 4-2 in the second game of a doubleheader.
Red Sox 4 Tigers 2 (11 innings)
In Detroit, Johnny Damon homered in the fifth inning and had an RBI single in the 11th to help the Boston Red Sox to a 4-2 win over the Tigers.
Royals 8 Rangers 2
In Texas, Carlos Beltran was four-for-four with a two-run triple to help the Kansas City Royals to an 8-2 win over the Rangers.
