Billy Quinones contributed 14 points and 7 rebounds and Ibrahim Besais, a former Saudi national player, had 13 points, Rod Ayson 13 points, Rey Gelilio 11 points Roem Sevillo 10 points, including the final 2 winning points for Badan.
Tata Santander, a veteran Jeddah cager, led Pacific Cargo with 22 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Jeff Baybay had 20 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists, Dennis Almario 14 points and 6 rebounds, Danny Bugayong had 7 points. Badan defeated Khalda Sports of Nick Romero, manager, and Jun Pacheco, coach, respectively 117-108 in overtime. Dave Gana, Rey Gelilio topscored with 23 and 22 points respectively. Billy Quinones of Badan buried a triple jumper with 1:06 seconds left to give Badan a 96-92 lead, however Bravo scored 2 consecutive shots to send the tie into overtime. But Badan picked up from there and never looked back.
Pacific Cargo dumps Al Bustan RMC 95-79 with Jeff Baybay topscoring with 27 points. Al Bustan RMC were ahead by 9 points (38-29) at the end of the first half, however Pacific Cargo’s balanced attack led by Tata Santander, who had 18 points, Mike Placino 11 points, Leo Santos 10 points, Cyrus Ruiz 9 points, Danny Bugayong 8 points and Benjie Enriquez 6 points did the trick in the second.
