JEDDAH, 16 August 2003 — The Iraqi Olympic squad completely dominated the Moroccan Olympic selection to win the Seventh Sadaka Soccer Tournament title with a solitary goal verdict in Asir yesterday.
Asir Governor Prince Khaled Al-Faisal attended the final and awarded the trophy and medals.
Though the Iraqis held territorial advantage, they could not translate their superiority into goals. They had to wait till the 37th minute of the second half to seal their victory. Younus Mahmoud struck the winner.
