JEDDAH, 5 October 2003 — Seminars on tilapia farming will be held for Filipinos in Jeddah and Riyadh who wish to go into business soon.
In Jeddah, the “Entre-Pinoy” seminar will deal on tilapia-raising in a concrete tank, with Rod Custodio of the Luna Rural Development Center and Tour Farms as resource speaker.
The seminar is being organized by the OFW Cooperative Council-Jeddah (OFWCC) in partnership with the PTK2 Multi Purpose Cooperative and the OFW WorldNet Foundation Inc.-(OFWNet Foundation, Phils.).
A press statement by the organizers said the event will be held on Oct. 17 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Radissons Hotel (formerly Hyatt) along Madinah Road.
Because the seats would be limited, interested individuals would be accommodated on a “first come, first serve” basis, said the statement.
