JEDDAH — “Developing successful brand strategies in Saudi Arabia” is the theme of the two-day 3rd annual Saudi Marketing Conference, which began here yesterday. Dr. Leslie de Charnatony, professor of brand marketing and director of the Center for Research in Brand Marketing, University of Birmingham Business School, in his keynote address on “From brand vision to brand evaluation” dealt with developing successful brand strategies in the Kingdom. Gulf Marketing Review (GMR) Publisher Barry Gray in his welcome address said the event was being staged between GMR and Middle East Marketing Forum (MEMF), and was one in an annual series organized across all the GCC states.
