Food for Poor

JEDDAH, 27 October 2003 — The World Assembly of Muslim Youth’s Jeddah office has allocated SR886,000 for the distribution of iftar meals among the poor and needy in 20 African, 17 Asian and three European countries, according to Dr. Abdul Wahab Noorwali, assistant secretary-general of the organization in the Makkah region. He said the program included distribution of food baskets to poor families throughout the holy month.
