Woman Among 4 Held for Drug Smuggling

JEDDAH, 28 October 2003 — Police have arrested three men and a woman with some 332,000 speed pills valued at SR3 million. The four, all Arabs, were distributing the drugs all over Jeddah, Al-Madinah newspaper said. They had stashed the drugs smuggled from a neighboring country in three apartments rented with fake Iqamas, the paper said. Police also confiscated five cell phones and SR400,000 in cash netted from a single sale.
