Bangladeshi Killed Over SR4 Taxi Fare

JEDDAH, 30 October 2003 — A 32-year-old Bangladeshi national was killed over SR4 here recently.

Police arrested four persons in connection with the murder, Okaz reported.

The Bangladeshi had insisted that one of the killers — identified as Luqman — pay half a taxi fare of SR8. Luqman refused, and the ensuing fistfight was broken up by bystanders.

But Luqman and three others later that night attacked the Bangladeshi and killed him, the paper said.
