ISLAMABAD, 9 November 2003 — Former president, chief of Pakistan Millat Party and leader of the National Alliance, Farooq Ahmad Khan Leghari, MNA, met Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali at the Prime Minister’s House yesterday.
The two leaders reviewed the political situation and decided to continue cooperation between their respective political parties for the better future of democracy and strengthening of democratic institutions in the country.
They observed that both the political parties desired continuity and stability of the democratic system.
Therefore, efforts should be made jointly to achieve these objectives.
The chief of the Millat Party assured his all-out support to the government in view of the current crisis involving most of the opposition parties.
