SEC Plans to Woo Investors

JEDDAH, 5 January 2004 — Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) plans to woo investors from the private sector by presenting new multibillion-riyal investment opportunities. In a statement, SEC said it will present 21 investment opportunities worth SR55 billion at a presentation to be held at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce & Industry tomorrow. The presentation promises to showcase investment opportunities in diverse projects relating to the SEC as well as joint ventures with Saudi Electricity and Water Co.
