BAHRAIN, 10 January 2004 — Gulf Air has launched a “Great way to start the New Year” with a free ticket promotion. Anyone who purchases a return ticket on selected routes during the promotion purchase period, which runs from today (Jan. 10) to Jan. 23 will, on completion of the journey, be entitled to collect a complimentary ticket in the same class of service to a group of selected destinations. Outbound and return travel on the purchased ticket must be completed during the period between Feb. 1 and March 31. On presentation of the boarding pass and ticket stub passengers can collect a free ticket from Bahrain to Dubai, Muscat, Doha, Abu Dhabi or Riyadh for travel before May 31. “Passengers flying from Bahrain to any one of 22 destinations including Abu Dhabi, Amman, Athens, Casablanca, Colombo, Damascus, Dar-Es-Salaam, Doha, Dubai, Jakarta, Karachi, Khartoum, Katmandu, Larnaca, Muscat, Nairobi, Peshawar, Riyadh, Shiraz, Singapore, Sydney and Tehran, will qualify for the complimentary ticket,” says Mahfood Al-Harthy, Gulf Air’s regional general manager. The offer, which is also available on flights from Gulf Air’s other main hubs — Muscat and Abu Dhabi as well as Riyadh and Dammam — should be booked through Gulf Air’s ticket office in Manama. Passengers flying from Dammam to any one of 20 designated destinations or from Riyadh to any one of five destinations — Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Muscat and Sydney — will qualify for the complimentary ticket, according to Abdulmalik Al-Saie, Gulf Air’s regional general manager for the Middle East and SKY region.
