DAMMAM, 30 January 2004 — The Organizing Committee of the Overseas Filipino Workers Congress — Eastern Province 4th Open Invitational Basketball (4th Conference) will hold their annual basketball tournament on March 5, 2004 at Al-Nahda Sports Complex.
The 3-month tournament is scheduled to be played every Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. During a recent meeting between Raul Gonzales and Cisco (Boy) delos Santos of OFWC-EP and Abdulhamid Al-Sawi and Faisal Mohammad Al-Shuhail of Al-Nahda Sports Club management, an agreement was finalized for OFWC-EP to use the basketball court. Shuhail, Al-Nahda Sports Club president, sincerely thanked Messrs. Gonzales and De los Santos in regard to OFWC-EP’s interest to hold their annual basketball tournament at Al-Nahda Sports Club.
