RIYADH, 30 January 2004 — The Thursday Inter-Commercial Bowling League is set to open on March 4 at the FAL Sports Complex Bowling Center.
SkyFreight Forwarders through its Regional Manager, Jimmy Hugo confirmed to support the Thursday Inter-Commercial Bowling League by way of sponsoring the champion trophies and 20 kgs. Sea cargo vouchers, which will be, awarded to the bowler of the week awardees.
Khalid Hamoud, proprietor of the FAL Bowling Center also confirmed to sponsor half of the expenses of the trophies and other gift items.
Marvin Cacnio, marketing and sales manager of the Kabayan Hotel through Noli Ritual, chair of the OFWBR will sponsor the bowler of the week T-shirts plus additional t-shirts that will be given away as prizes to bowlers converting five strikes in a row. Also, Kabayan Hotel will also give a special rate not only to the Thursday league participants but also to all OFWs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The organizing committee officials will be responsible for the weekly prizes. The league is open to all male bowlers regardless of their classification and nationalities. Eleven teams have confirmed their participation and the teams are of JR Bagon, Yusuf Fernandez, Arnold Bellen, Noli Ritual, Jun Jabonero, Danny Umbao, Roger Bautista, Joey Maningas, Gigi Enriquez, Louie Agtarap, and Enrique “Boy” Fogata, former FOBR chairman.
