BAHA, 18 February 2004 — A Saudi math teacher in an elementary school, Saleh Al-Zahrani, took leave from school claiming that his wife was sick and he wanted to take her to hospital. Instead, he used the time off to kill Ahmad Al-Zahrani. According to the educational supervisor at the school, the killer, a 26-year-old, was calm and had no enemies inside and outside school. Teachers were stunned when they heard the news of the murder. The killer surrendered to police soon after he committed the crime.
