Saudia to Transport Iranian Pilgrims

JEDDAH, 1 March 2004 - Saudi Arabian Airlines will transport some 150,000 Iranian pilgrims this Umrah season, under an agreement signed by the airline's Director General Dr. Khaled Ben-Bakr and Ahmed Zarhani, Iran's assistant minister of Islamic affairs. The Saudi Press Agency said Saudia will transport the pilgrims from 14 Iranian cities between April 5 to Nov. 13. The pilgrims will arrive at Prince Muhammad Airport in Madinah while their return flights will take off from the King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah, SPA said.
