Duncan, a British national, turned in the best gross score of 76, one stroke better than the long-hitting Korean Kim. Kim, with a five handicap, however, was not to be denied the best net score of 72. This is the first activity of the 2004 season among members of the Dirab Golf and Recreation Center.
Seventy-two players turned out for the 18-hole strokeplay event organized by DGRC Golf Division manager Bouchaib El Jadiani and his assistant, Tony Thekinniyath.
