Saudi to Get Daily Free Meal From Restaurant

DAMMAM, 19 March 2004 — A Saudi citizen who found a piece of glass in his meal is to get a free meal everyday as compensation, Al-Watan reported. The man had just bought the meal from a restaurant in Khobar when he discovered the glass. The man returned to the restaurant and complained to the manager who promptly put the blame on the worker who prepared the food. When the customer threatened to report the incident to the municipality, the worker offered the free meal in exchange for silence on the matter.
