Thuraya Posts $38m Net Profits

DUBAI, 22 March 2004 — Thuraya Satellite Telecommunications Co. of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced yesterday net profits of $38 million in 2003. The company also posted revenues of 1.068 billion dirhams ($291 million) last year, almost double the 587 million dirhams ($160 million) in 2002.
